The Mentor Company
The Mentor Company is probably best known for the many iconic landmarks built in Kitsap County and for the highly visible readerboard on Highway 3. Started in 1955 by local visionary Joe Mentor, the Company continues as a second generation business since Joe’s death in 2003. The Company owns both commercial and residential properties throughout Kitsap County. Currently, the Company is actively managed by Joe’s daughters Judy Mentor Eagleson and Jennifer Mentor Mills.
